LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
“Since 1950, when a group was seeking a solution through brainstorming, all studies of group-based problem-solving and decision-making have proved that if a group comes up with ideas collectively, they generate much less solutions than they would if each of the group members had a chance to take their time to think on their own in the first place and then share their ideas with others – and the bigger the group, the greater the difference.”
THIS IS WHY WE ARE THE FIRST TO BRING LEGO® SERIOUS
PLAY® TO THE SLOVAK MARKET
What is the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method?
The LSP method is a technique for solving problems and challenging situations to be used by individuals, teams, and entire organisations. A facilitation technique is used at workshops. The LSP is based on extensive research in the development of organisations, teams, and individuals, with the LSP using all learning cycle stages to help achieve the desired results.
The beliefs forming the basis of the LSP methodology include the following:
- The
leaders do not have all the answers and their success depends on hearing out
all team members.
- People
naturally want to contribute, be part of something larger, and take credit for
success.
- Teams much
too often work below their optimal performance level, leaving available
knowledge of all team members idle.
THE BENEFITS OF USING THE LSP METHOD
- Greater
involvement and engagement of the participants, including shy and timid people,
as the model can be used as a support or a reference point;
- More
thoughts and ideas;
- More
emotions and passion;
- A
feeling of commitment and trainee participation;
- Better
results.
